Meet our Team
Our business owner and principal Occupational Therapist Kerry Hooper has worked as an Occupational Therapist for over 15 years in a broad range of clinical and community settings. Kerry holds special interest in adult neurological conditions and the impact these conditions have on daily functional performance and capacity.
Kerry enjoys working in the field of neurodiversity and cognitive rehabilitation and employs a range of treatment approaches depending on individual needs. These can include structured rehabilitation modules targeting improvement of specific cognitive skills or use of adaptive strategies to help compensate for cognitive losses in the context of daily functioning.
Kerry is a member of OT Australia and is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist. She is ABAS accredited and has undertaken ongoing training in the special interest area of Trauma and its impact on functional performance and participation.
When not at work Kerry likes to keep fit and enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities with her active family.
Mandy completed her Occupational Therapy undergraduate training at the University of Newcastle in 1996 and continued her studies with a Masters of Health Management from the University of Armidale in 2000. Not only a clinician, she completed many allied health and community projects including the Transition Care Program, the Community Based Rehabilitation Team and represented Allied Health in the Redevelopment of Mackay Base Hospital Rehabilitation Unit.
Mandy now relishes the opportunities to “think outside of the box” with complex Assistive Technology assessment, trials and reporting to help clients reach their goals. She is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist and has often been found researching the next new development in Assistive Technology, skill development for neurological and learning impairments and being a great all rounder for a myriad of queries.
When not at work, she chases around after her 2 children, multiple animals and spends her spare time avoiding housework, in her garden.
Rebecca’s area of interest includes environmental assessment, home modifications and assistive technology. Rebecca is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist and has an ongoing commitment to professional development in her areas of interest.
When not at work, Rebecca enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle shared with her husband and two sons.
